The Infernal City
By Greg Keyes

I rate this book 3.5 stars

This is the first book written for the Elder Scroll series. I personally think that the Elder Scroll games are
some of the best games of all time. The Infernal City does a great job relating to the games, but the story
itself becomes confusing towards the end and has an unfinished ending.

The story is about a highly curious young lady that travels to a floating island with her best friend (who
happens to be a lizardman). When they get there they find out that the island is run by a demon. The
island has creatures that destroy civilizations from world to world.

The young lady (Annaig) and her friend (Mere-Glim) witness the destruction of their friends, family, and
town from the view of the floating island. With the power of a magical metal owl, they can communicate
with a prince that promises to rescue them.

Pros:
Great characters
Story that keeps you reading

Cons:
Confusing at times
Bad ending
